Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order with us. By placing an order you are signifying your acceptance of these terms and conditions and will be legally bound by them.

If you are not happy with any of these terms and conditions then please do not proceed with your order. These terms and conditions and your use of our web site are governed by English law. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

The term 'Apple Bikes','we' or 'us', refers to Apple Bikes Ltd. 8, Orchard Rd. St. Annes, Lancashire FY8 1RY. The term 'you' or 'your',  refers to the user of our website. The term 'goods'refers to the item of the sale.

You must be over 18 years of age to contract with Apple Bikes.

When placing an order you undertake that the details you provide to us are accurate and true, that you are an authorised user of the debit or credit card and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.

The Contract

After placing an order we will send you an email acknowledging that we have received your order. A contract between you and us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved by us and the order has been processed and dispatched. An email confirming dispatch will be sent by us. We wil not be obliged to supply any other goods that may have been part of your order until the dispatch of these goods has been confirmed in a separate dispatch confirmation.

We reserve the right to cancel the contract if

  1. we have reason to suspect fraudulent activity;
  2. we have insufficient stock to satisfy the order;
  3. we are unable to deliver to your geographical area;
  4. the goods ordered were listed at an incorrect price.


All prices include VAT at the standard rate, unless they are VAT exempt, for example, helmets. 

Whilst every effort is made to ensure our prices are correct, we reserve the right to amend them where necessary. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the corrected price or cancelling the order. If we cannot make contact with you we will cancel the order.

Delivery costs will be charged in addition and will be displayed separately.

Product Details, Specifications and Uses

The product details, specifications and information regarding uses and suitability is the best available at the time. 

Apple Bikes shall not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability of any parts required for the repair of an item. Apple Bikes cannot be held liable for any damage caused by the fitting of a spare part

We make every  effort to be as accurate as possible. If your order does not match your expectations based on the description on applebikes.co.uk, on the return of the goods, we will provide you with a refund.


You have a right to cancel your order up to 7 working days after the receipt of your goods.If you wish to cancel your order, please inform us as soon as possible and return the goods within 14 days of the purchase date for a full exchange or refund. Extended return for Christmas gifts. Starting 1st December 2018, if you wish to return a Christmas gift you have until 23rd January 2019 to return it either in store or by post.


You are responsible for the cost of return of unwanted goods. The goods returned must be unused, in the original packaging and received by us in the condition they were in when they were delivered to you. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned to us in a safe and secure manner and in a saleable condition, including manuals, warranty cards, accessories and packaging.

Returns can be made in person at the Apple Bikes store in St Annes or sent by recorded delivery together with a copy of your receipt and the returns form to

Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase. We are unable to offer any refund without a valid proof of purchase from Apple Bikes.

Faulty Goods or Wrong Item Received

If you have received goods that are faulty, or not what you ordered, we will cover the cost of return to us if the goods are returned within 14 days. If the goods are not faulty, have been supplied correctly or are returned outside of 14 days, we will not be liable for your return postage costs. 

Faulty goods fall under the terms and conditions of the warranty of that particular item. If you think you have a faulty item or your goods become faulty within the warranty period, then please contact us describing the fault and whether you would like a replacement or refund. Faulty items are returned by us to the suppliers and upon their confirmation of the warranty issue we will process your request for replacement or refund.


Apple Bikes shall not be liable for accidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third party claims.

We have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of goods ordered. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time and get a refund prior to the goods being dispatched. This does not affect your statutory rights.
